The Black Swan Henley in Arden, one month on…
We can’t believe that already a month has past since the opening of our latest pub, The Black Swan in Henley in Arden, Warwickshire.
This video showcases the sympathetic refurbishment that took our design and build team six months to complete. It was time well spent as without doubt this gem has been restored back to its very best.
Did you know?
- We have two sheep who live in the back courtyard of the pub (they are not real but very cute nonetheless). This wooly pair are called Bramble and Mojito. They were named by a local guest as part of a competition and we love their names! They sit proudly alongside our oversized deckchair to the rear of the pub – a great photo opportunity for all who visit.
- The High Bailiff and his Leet court members officially opened the pub on 8th August. Alastair Price made a speech telling us all about the history of this wonderful pub and the role it plays in the local community which was witnessed by all our front and back of house team.
- The pub serves the local brew, Bunny Hop from Purity Brewery which was approved by the Ale taster from the Leet court on the day we opened the pub. Together we all toasted to the health of the King and the Landlord – cheers to that!
